The Frankel Cardiovascular Center has honored one of the founding Taubman Scholars with the establishment of the David J. Pinsky, MD Cardiovascular Medicine Grand Rounds Visiting Professorship.
Dr. Pinsky has been a member of the Taubman Institute community since its inception, and serves on the institute’s executive committee. He holds many leadership positions at Michigan Medicine, and as a result of his groundbreaking research has earned a reputation as one of the country’s foremost experts in understanding the relationship between blood flow and heart and brain diseases.
The inaugural lecture by Dr. Pinsky was held October 10, entitled “From Eureka! to Beyond: My professional scientific odyssey in Vascular Defense and Discovery” in the Frankel CVC Danto Auditorium.
