Grace Wu, managing director of the Taubman Institute, has received the 2022 Research Staff Leadership Recognition Award from the U-M Office of the Vice President for Research. Ms. Wu, who was appointed managing director in 2017, is among 10 honorees university-wide by the program that spotlights those who play a key role in supporting research and scholarship.
This year’s awards recognize the breadth of research staff roles, from research data work and facilities management to research administration and leadership.
“Research staff across our three campuses play an essential role in driving the overall success of our academic research enterprise,” said Rebecca Cunningham, vice president for research and the William G. Barsan Collegiate Professor of Emergency Medicine.
Taubman Institute Director Charles Burant, MD, PhD, and institute staff members join in congratulating Ms. Wu on her receipt of the award, which was presented May 17.
